While we wait for Apple to provide built-in sleep tracking on the Apple Watch, there are a number of great third-party options to fill the void. One of the best, NapBot, has just added some notable new features in a recent update.
Easily the most unique aspect of the app is that it uses machine learning technology in both IOS 13 and watchOS 6 to track your sleep. That means it can continue to learn the more you use the app.
And in version 1.4, the Apple Watch app is becoming even better.
On the watch, a settings screen will allow you to adjust a sleep goal and enable or disable notifications. A calendar screen will show you more data than just one sleep entry.
There is also a new dynamic notification that will show a preview of your sleep analysis.
NapBot is designed for the iPhone and can be downloaded now on the App Store for free.
You can subscribe to NapBot Pro for $ 0.99 per month or $ 9.99 annually.
That unlocks sleep history and the ability to track sleep trends and see how new habits influence your sleep.
One of those trends is a new addition with the update. A deep sleep trend will analyze the duration of the sleep phase and provide recommendations to improve.
