Even though it’s small and portable, Pioneer says the sound can easily fill a conference room.
Since it receives power through a Lightning plug, there’s no battery that needs to be charged. There is also a passthrough port that allows you to use the speaker and charge the iOS device simultaneously. It can also be used on a Mac or PC using a standard Lightning to USB cable.
The speaker automatically recognizes what mode its being used — speakerphone or music playback – for and will adapt to provide the clearest sounding audio. A single smart button will give users quick access to the mute/unmute play/pause functionality even if the iOS device is locked.
In the future, additional features can easily arrive with updates the the companion app.
The Rayz Rally retails for $ 99.95 and can be purchased directly from Apple.com or at your local Apple Store. You can select from a version with a black or space gray Lightning plug.
