If you have plans on moving some of your videos from your iPhone to your Mac but don’t know how; then you’re in luck, since today we’re going to be talking about two ways you can move your videos from your iPhone to your computer, that’s actually really easy to do.
The first way you can transfer your video clips, is through importing them from the Photos app. And the second way is through iCloud, which is typically the most preferred and easiest way to do it, since it’s normally already linked to your Mac, for easier access.
So here’s how to import videos from the Photos app
Step 1: Connect your iPhone to your Mac and launch the Photos app.
Step 2: Select your iPhone from the left-hand menu.
Step 3: Select the videos you want to import from the resulting list of thumbnails.
Step 4: If you want to delete the videos from your iPhone after the import, select Delete Items in the upper-right corner.
Step 5: Click the Import button in the upper-right corner. Then click Videos in the left-hand menu to see your imported videos from your iPhone, and you’re done.
And here’s how to transfer videos from iCloud
Step 1: First, you’re going to open System Preferences and click the iCloud icon.
Step 2: Log into your iCloud account.
Step 3: Make sure the box that’s directly beside Photos is checked.
Step 4: Once iCloud Photos is enabled, your videos will automatically and wirelessly sync and go to your photo library, which is located within the Photos app, and you should see all of your videos on your Mac that was originally on your iPhone.
And that’s how you transfer your videos to your Mac from the Photos app and from your iCloud in just 4-5 steps. If you would like to learn more ways to import videos from your iPhone, then you can always check out Apple’s official support page for more information.
