We’ve received a lot of interest in the well-known Whitestone glass screen protectors from Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL owners. Today, we’re happy to announce that these screen protectors are now available for pre-order.
Whitestone have been producing screen protectors for some time, but their Dome Glass screen protectors have become massively popular when they debuted for the Galaxy S8, Note 8 and iPhone 8. These screen protectors use a proprietary UV adhesive process, where you use a little lamp and a plastic guide to bind the screen protector perfectly onto your device. This works a lot better than the traditional place-by-hand methods, particularly for phones with curved edge screens. Now, the Dome is available for the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL.
If you haven’t seen the Whitestone Dome in action before, it’s well worth checking out a video of the process so you can see what to expect. Here’s one for the Galaxy S8, which has the same process as the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL:
The process looks a little involved, but as long as you follow the steps provided then it’s really simple and there’s no easy way to screw up — your screen protector will be installed perfectly, even on your very first try. You can even install the screen protector onto a broken screen to prevent further damage.
