The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is expected to be introduced on August 23rd, which is when Samsung will hold its next Unplugged event. It also is eight days shy of the keynote speech and opening day activities of the annual IFA trade show in Berlin. There was some talk that Samsung Australia’s promotion to replace a cracked or damaged Note 8 screen for free starting on August 25th indicated that this would be the official launch date of the phablet. After all, what good would such a promotion be without the release of the device.
Now, however, some analysts expect Sammy to launch the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 on September 15th. An accompanying statement made by a South Korean carrier representative overseas reads, “We are going to sell Galaxy Note 8 starting from the 15th of September. Its price has not been set yet.”
There is also some speculation that the Galaxy Note 8 will launch at around the same time as the LG V30 does. A press render of the latter phone that we showed you yesterday revealed a possible unveiling date of August 31st on the display. Toss in a 10-to-14 day waiting period, and we could see the LG V30 hit the market at about the same time as the Galaxy Note 30 does on or around September 15th.
