Later this week, a number of Pokémon from the Hoenn region – including Treecko, Torchic, Mudkip, and others – will start appearing in the game. Others will be able to be discovered over the next few weeks.
And now the AR game will bring a bit more reality into the equation with the addition of dynamic weather that mirrors the real world.
When exploring for Pokémon, the weather will allow for unique ways for trainers to interact with the creatures. The changing weather will also change some Pokémon habits and allow for increased Combat Power and the ability to earn more Stardust.
Pokémon Go is designed for the iPhone and can be downloaded now for free.
And developer Niantic has been busy with more than just updates to the popular game. Back in November, the developer announced that Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, is set to arrive sometime in 2018.
